Aruba’s vibrant hospitality scene is driven by an elite group of passionate professionals who set the standard in fine dining, mixology, and customer experience. These masters of their craft bring global expertise and local passion to every plate and pour. Let’s get to know a few of the island’s shining stars.

🍹 Brooke Van Tol – Bartender & Mixologist

📍 Quinta del Carmen
Born to a Dutch father and Aruban mother, Brooke found her calling unexpectedly through hospitality. Once a shy hostess, she bloomed into one of Aruba’s most innovative bartenders, known for crafting unique cocktails like the famed “Team Orange.” With 9 years in the industry, she’s been tapped to develop signature drinks across the island.

Winner of the “Gourmand Best in the World” cookbook award and former creator of a menu served at Argentinian embassies worldwide, his philosophy is simple: make customers happy with fresh ingredients and thoughtful service.

🐟 Mike Frank – Head Chef

📍 Saliña Local Cuisine
Originally from the Czech Republic, Chef Mike fell in love with Aruban flavors two decades ago. Now head chef at Saliña Restaurant, he blends local tradition with international flair. His signature event, “Taste of History in Aruba’s Kitchen,” treats guests to five traditional dishes paired with stories of their origins. When not in the kitchen, he’s often out fishing and crafting new recipes from his catch.
