In the Youth category, the Governor Tromp Youth Cup Aruba 2026 award goes to Randerly Trimon, a 19-year-old known for his strong commitment to volunteer work and community development. Trimon has demonstrated leadership and a positive attitude, dedicating nearly 48 weeks each year to helping others.
He actively participates in organizations such as Believe in Yourself, Ban Hunga Kiniki, Friendly Camp, and Scouting Aruba. His contributions also extend to environmental initiatives, including the Rosario Project, where he creates items from recycled materials, and the innovative Sacuchicuchi Project, which earned recognition through the Power of Youth award.
In the Pre-Youth category, the Governor Tromp Youth Cup Aruba 2026 is awarded to Ji-Zion Boekhoudt, an 8-year-old athlete who has shown remarkable determination and talent in track and field. Despite facing injury challenges, Ji-Zion continued to stay involved by volunteering and supporting others.
His achievements in sports are impressive for his age. In 2025, Ji-Zion represented Aruba internationally on three occasions, competing in Miami, Orlando, and Curaçao. Notably, he secured first place in the 400-meter sprint in Orlando and achieved first place in both the 60-meter and 400-meter sprints in Curaçao.
