He actively participates in organizations such as Believe in Yourself, Ban Hunga Kiniki, Friendly Camp, and Scouting Aruba. His contributions also extend to environmental initiatives, including the Rosario Project, where he creates items from recycled materials, and the innovative Sacuchicuchi Project, which earned recognition through the Power of Youth award.

In the Pre-Youth category, the Governor Tromp Youth Cup Aruba 2026 is awarded to Ji-Zion Boekhoudt, an 8-year-old athlete who has shown remarkable determination and talent in track and field. Despite facing injury challenges, Ji-Zion continued to stay involved by volunteering and supporting others.

His achievements in sports are impressive for his age. In 2025, Ji-Zion represented Aruba internationally on three occasions, competing in Miami, Orlando, and Curaçao. Notably, he secured first place in the 400-meter sprint in Orlando and achieved first place in both the 60-meter and 400-meter sprints in Curaçao.

The Governor Tromp Youth Cup Aruba 2026 highlights the importance of youth development, recognizing individuals who excel not only in their talents but also in their contributions to society.

These awards serve as an inspiration for young people across Aruba, encouraging them to pursue excellence while giving back to their communities.

The ceremony at Wilhelmina Park is expected to be a proud and celebratory moment, showcasing the future leaders of Aruba and their achievements.

The Governor Tromp Youth Cup Aruba 2026 continues to play a vital role in promoting youth empowerment and recognizing the impact of young individuals on the island’s development.
