ORANJESTAD (AAN) – The Fundacion Salvaguardia e Herencia Cultural di Aruba (FSHCA) invites the entire Aruba community to enjoy three original musical productions scheduled in June and July.
The initiative aims to expand Aruba’s theatrical landscape and showcase local talent both locally and internationally. All three productions are original musicals directed by Ferdinand Franca.
June Performances:
- ABC Performingarts Aruba KIDS will present Robotino on June 21 at 3 PM and 5 PM at the School of Arts. This musical tells the story of a robot aspiring to become human, offering a heartwarming performance for children and adults alike.
- FSHCA will present Otro Gay Ta Canta on June 24 at 6 PM at the Savaneta Community Center and June 27 at 6 PM and 8 PM at the School of Arts. This musical explores the tradition of Dera Gay dance and the choices of the community regarding the future of their culture.
July Performance:
- ABC Performingarts Aruba YOUTH will present Our First Act! on July 7 and 8 at the Paseo Herencia Ballroom. This showcase features singing, dancing, and acting, promising an unforgettable evening for lovers of the performing arts.
FSHCA continues to foster theater and performing arts in Aruba, providing a platform for local artists, both youth and adult, and cultivating interest in the art form among the younger generations. The foundation celebrates its first anniversary with these three musical productions, inviting families to enjoy and support the growth of theater and culture in Aruba.
