The third edition of CARE Caribbean will take place on 15 November in The Hague, bringing together healthcare professionals and students interested in building their careers in the Dutch Caribbean islands — including Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, Sint Eustatius, and Sint Maarten.
This biennial networking and career event will feature a job fair where Caribbean healthcare employers present opportunities, speed-dating sessions between recruiters and candidates, and a plenary program designed to exchange insights and foster collaboration. Over 100 participants are expected to attend.
The plenary discussions will explore ways to strengthen connections between Caribbean employers and professionals living in the Netherlands, while also addressing strategies to encourage graduates and healthcare experts to return to the islands.
Organized by Stichting WeConnect and AMA, and supported by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS), the event aims to advance healthcare and welfare development across the Caribbean part of the Kingdom.
Free admission tickets are available at www.carecaribbean.nl.
WeConnect is an educational foundation that builds bridges between the Caribbean and European parts of the Kingdom, focusing on students and young professionals from islands such as Aruba and Curaçao. AMA, the Association of Caribbean Healthcare Professionals in the Netherlands, works to unite medical, pharmaceutical, and health specialists who share a passion for the Dutch Caribbean.
