‘Elements’ Theme Lights Up Abraham de Veerschool Graduation Night

The students of Abraham de Veerschool MAVO celebrated their graduation in spectacular fashion at Las Palmas Ballroom in the Holiday Inn Beach Resort, embracing the theme “Elements” – inspired by the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements.

The venue was beautifully decorated to reflect this scientific theme, making the night truly memorable. The female graduates dazzled in stunning dresses, with flawless makeup and hairstyles, while the male graduates showed up in style, dressed to impress with attention to every detail.

After the national anthem, the school’s director Jane Bueno-Hooft gave a heartfelt speech, proudly announcing that 86% of the students successfully graduated.

Following the address, each graduate received their diploma—first from the school leadership, then from their teachers. Emotions ran high, as the joy of achievement mixed with the excitement of stepping into a new chapter of life.

The evening was a beautiful celebration of effort, learning, and the bright futures ahead.
