The Eagle Boys tournament at Playa Pabao is bringing together bolas teams from Aruba, Curaçao and Bonaire, according to an October 24 report by 24ora.
Final scheduled for Sunday
The competition began Thursday, October 22, and its final is scheduled for Sunday, October 25. Leroy Manuela, captain of the Curaçao team and an organizer, said participation and public support had been encouraging as play continued.
Organizers thank the host community
Manuela credited Playa Pabao with helping make the event possible and invited spectators to attend through Sunday. He said his interest in organizing the tournament came from playing bolas since childhood and wanting to support its development in Aruba. DJ Black is providing music alongside the sporting program, the report said.
