SETAR Joins AHATA Coastal Clean-Up for Earth Day

SETAR, Aruba’s national telecommunications company, proudly took part in the Coastal Clean Up Event organized by AHATA in celebration of Earth Day. A dedicated group of employees spent a morning clearing the Bucutiweg area, contributing to a cleaner coastline and a more sustainable environment for the island.

Reaffirming ESG Commitment Through Action

As Aruba’s national telecom provider, SETAR used the occasion to reinforce its commitment to sustainability and its broader ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) goals. The company has been steadily integrating environmentally conscious practices into its operations, and the Earth Day clean-up served as a hands-on demonstration of those values.

Earth Day serves as a reminder that small actions, when carried out collectively, can produce a meaningful impact. By rolling up their sleeves and heading to the coast, SETAR’s team showed that corporate responsibility extends beyond boardroom commitments and into the communities they serve.

The Bucutiweg area now stands cleaner thanks to the combined efforts of SETAR employees and fellow volunteers. The initiative is part of a growing movement across the island to protect Aruba’s natural beauty and preserve its Environment for future generations.

SETAR continues to demonstrate its dedication to community well-being and environmental preservation on the island, setting an example for other local businesses to follow.
