ORANJESTAD (AAN) – On Thursday, May 7, Scol Preparatorio Cacique Aterima held its annual “Mainta pa bishita scol,” an open house event designed for prospective students and their guardians. The gathering allowed families to tour the educational facility, explore playground areas, and meet the teaching staff ahead of the upcoming school year.
Head teacher Juffrou Maritza Carrion led the orientation, guiding parents through the campus while explaining the school’s curriculum and addressing specific inquiries. During the visit, future students were invited to participate in supervised activities inside the classrooms and the school’s speelzaal, giving them a preview of their daily routine.
The event concluded with the distribution of small tokens of appreciation to the families in attendance. School administration emphasized that the primary goal of the initiative is to ensure that every child feels safe, welcome, and confident when they arrive for their first day of classes at Scol Preparatorio Cacique Aterima.
