ORANJESTAD (AAN): Clients of Pasadia Briyo di Solo recently participated in a meaningful tree-planting activity aimed at promoting environmental awareness and personal development.
Pasadia Briyo di Solo is a care center in Aruba that supports adults with intellectual disabilities, focusing on community integration, independence, and personal growth through daily activities .
The Briyo di Solo Tree Planting Aruba initiative was organized in collaboration with Santa Rosa and led by intern Lucien Peterson as part of his final study project. A total of 11 clients took part in planting trees in the foundation’s garden.
According to head Jean’toine Perez, the activity included planting useful trees such as Toronhil, which are beneficial for the clients. Representatives from Santa Rosa were present to guide participants and share knowledge about planting and caring for trees.
The Briyo di Solo Tree Planting Aruba activity not only introduced clients to practical gardening skills but also encouraged responsibility and environmental care. Participants can now apply what they learned at home by planting and maintaining their own plants.
Perez expressed gratitude to all contributors, especially Santa Rosa and the student Peterson, for helping make the project a success.
The Briyo di Solo Tree Planting Aruba reflects the importance of community collaboration in creating meaningful experiences that support both personal growth and environmental awareness.
