Baseball and Softball in Paradise completed its sixth edition over the weekend with 53 local and international teams, organizer Shurty Tremus told 24ora in a report published October 19.
More than 100 games across Aruba
According to the report, the tournament used several fields around the island and featured more than 100 games. It concluded on Saturday in Pos Chikito.
Youth players compete before scouts
Baseball divisions ranged from under-nine to under-20, while softball was open to girls, the source reported. Tremus said scouts attended alongside the players’ parents. The source described teams arriving from different parts of the world but did not provide a complete country list or final standings.
