ORANJESTAD (AAN): The AVP Futuro government Aruba has completed its first year in office, with the AVP faction expressing pride in what they describe as a people-centered approach to governance.

According to the AVP faction, the AVP Futuro government Aruba has focused on rebuilding trust, improving public services, and strengthening the economy after years of challenges faced by the community. The coalition emphasized a leadership style that prioritizes action over words and keeps the needs of the people at the center.

During this first year, the government highlighted several key priorities. These include strengthening public finances through better fiscal discipline and reduced waste, while ensuring a more stable financial future for Aruba. Social welfare programs have also been improved to support vulnerable groups and families facing difficulties.

Education and youth development have been key focus areas, with investments such as a 9 million florin allocation to improve the education system and create more opportunities for young people. The AVP Futuro government Aruba also emphasized public safety, working to enhance collaboration between institutions and strengthen crime prevention efforts.

Additionally, efforts have been made to modernize public services, improve efficiency, and deliver faster, more professional services to citizens. The government also continues to focus on diversifying the economy to reduce dependence on a single sector and promote sustainable growth.

The AVP faction stated that the AVP Futuro government Aruba has brought stability to the country, helping to build confidence among investors, the private sector, and the public. They acknowledged that challenges remain but emphasized their commitment to continuing progress.

The message from the coalition is clear: while the first year has set a strong foundation, the work toward a stronger and more prosperous Aruba will continue.
