Aruba has been ranked the safest island in the Caribbean, thanks to its low crime rate, reliable Dutch-standard healthcare, and protection from major hurricanes.
The island also features some of the world’s most beautiful beaches, including Eagle Beach, which received TripAdvisor’s top award in 2025. Visitors can enjoy calm, shallow waters and may even spot nesting leatherback turtles along the shore.
Beyond beaches, Aruba offers nature escapes in Arikok National Park and unique attractions like Flamingo Island, where tourists can spend a day among imported pink birds. Importantly, Aruba features a U.S. Customs and Border Protection Preclearance facility, allowing travelers to clear customs before departure—making arrival in the U.S. seamless, as if it were a domestic flight.
