Aruba taekwondo cadets trained alongside the US Cadet national team at the United States Performance Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, last week, according to an October 28 report by English 24ora.
Training arranged through a longstanding supporter
The sessions were made possible through Master Antwuan Wilson of Champions Martial Arts, who has supported Taekwondo Team Aruba for several years. US coaches also worked directly with the visiting cadet athletes.
Team describes a first for Aruba
According to the Aruban team, this was the first time an Aruba team had trained alongside the US national team at its facility. Alberto Klaber welcomed the sporting connections. The report concerns a training visit, not a new medal result, and does not name the next international event.
