ORANJESTAD (AAN): Aruba police DUI enforcement intensified early Sunday morning as officers from the motorized brigade conducted traffic controls following the Lighting Parade.
During the operation, police stopped multiple vehicles and confirmed that more than 15 drivers were operating their vehicles under the influence of alcohol. All individuals were detained as part of the enforcement action.
According to authorities, the controls were carried out to ensure road safety after large public events, especially during the Carnival season when alcohol consumption tends to increase.
The Aruba Police Force emphasized that Aruba police DUI enforcement will continue in the coming days and weeks to protect both residents and visitors, urging drivers to act responsibly and avoid driving under the influence.
