ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Military candidates in Aruba are taking part in the POTOC introduction programme, where they are being challenged physically, mentally, and socially as they prepare for future leadership roles.
The introduction days are designed to help participants understand the qualities and commitment required to become military officers before continuing their official officer training in the Netherlands.
The programme forms an important step in the continued professional development of the Armed Forces of Aruba (ARUMIL), preparing future officers through teamwork, discipline, resilience, and leadership.
Organizers describe the initiative as another milestone in strengthening the professionalism of Aruba’s military personnel and developing the next generation of leaders.
