ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Aruba Lions Club has officially installed its new Board of Directors for the 2026–2027 Lions year during a ceremony held at the Embassy Suites’ Bubali Ballroom.
Representatives from several service clubs across Aruba attended the event, while former District 35-N Governor Ivan Croes officiated the installation of the new executive board.
Gerardo Figaroa was installed as President, with Ryan Ras serving as Vice President. Swinda Roga assumed the role of Secretary, while Magaly Franken was appointed Treasurer. Additional board members were also introduced to lead membership, youth programs and other club activities.
During his inaugural address, President Figaroa emphasized values including family, friendship, integrity, leadership, transparency, cooperation and community service as guiding principles for the coming year.
Aruba Lions Club, a member of Lions Clubs International through District 35-N, has served the Aruban community for nearly 80 years and reaffirmed its commitment to volunteer service and community development.
