Aruba Bank recently hosted a “Business Mix & Mingle” event for its corporate clients at Secrets Baby Beach, where business owners, directors, and partners gathered for an evening of networking and collaboration.
The venue provided an exceptional atmosphere, combining inspiring surroundings with a perfect setting for meaningful connections. During the event, new relationships were formed, generating opportunities for future collaboration, dialogue, and cooperation.
The evening was particularly special as Aruba Bank celebrated its recent 100th anniversary, a milestone built on trust, strong partnerships, and shared success. In his speech, Ramon Mas, Head of Corporate Banking and Platinum Banking, expressed his gratitude for the continued trust of corporate clients and emphasized the important role that local businesses play in Aruba’s economy.
The event also highlighted new leadership at Aruba Bank. Rob de Ridder was recently appointed as Managing Director and Chairman of the Management Board in 2025, while Marleen van der Borgt was appointed as Managing Director as of January 1, 2026. With over 12 years of experience at the bank and a strong background in strategic finance, asset liability management, risk management, and leadership, Marleen is exceptionally positioned to guide Aruba Bank into its next chapter.
The event also marked a moment to look ahead, reaffirming Aruba Bank’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and service excellence, while also recognizing key leadership appointments that will help guide the bank in its next phase.
Aruba Bank’s Business Mix & Mingle event further solidified the bank’s position as a long-term financial partner, dedicated to growing alongside the Aruban business community.
