Aruba parliamentarian Jennifer Arends-Reyes has asked the responsible minister for information about after-school programs available to secondary-school students and the obstacles to expanding them.

Arends-Reyes said young people can benefit from homework support, sports, cultural activities and positive environments after the regular school day. She argued that guidance should continue when students move from primary to secondary education.
