Two agreements link regional partners
Impact Hub Aruba has signed memoranda of understanding with Curacao Innovation Hub and the Dutch Caribbean Innovation Fund, according to 24ora’s November 5 report. The agreements aim to build stronger links between entrepreneurial and innovation networks in the Dutch Caribbean and the Netherlands.
Alliance targeted within twelve months
The Curacao agreement covers access to networks, joint events and programmes, and regional collaboration. The agreement with the innovation fund sets a goal of establishing a Dutch Caribbean Innovation Alliance within twelve months. Director Mary-Ann Falconi-Rasmijn said connecting markets could help startups and scaleups grow beyond Aruba. The report describes intended cooperation rather than guaranteed investment or business results.
