Aruba Christmas decorations are being installed at public locations as DOW crews prepare for the festive season, according to Diario’s November 4 report.
Decorations appear at several public sites
The newspaper listed Caya Betico Croes, the areas in front of Parliament and the Government Office, Plaza Daniel Leo and the area outside Aruba Carnival & Entertainment Village among the locations where decorations could already be seen.
Diario attributed the installation work to DOW’s professional team. The report did not provide a budget, a completion deadline or a full island-wide installation schedule.
Lighting date remains to be announced
The decorations being in place does not mean the public lighting ceremony has already happened. Diario said residents should await an announcement of the date when the lights will be switched on.
No switch-on date or ceremony time was confirmed in the source report.
