Four Noord carnival queens were crowned during Centro di Bario Noord’s two-day Halloween fair, according to 24ora. The presentation also looked ahead to the 60th anniversary of Noord’s children’s parade.
Four representatives named
The new representatives are children’s queen Claire Maduro, youth queen Ryziliane Richardson, adult queen Jehdeiah Flanegin and Señora Carnaval Farignalda “Fari” Felicia. The report identifies the youth, adult and Señora titles with the 2027 carnival season.
An enchanted-garden theme
Carnival committee member Nelaine Giel said the overall theme is “E Hofi Encanta.” Noord’s group will represent butterflies, with other participating groups developing related fantasy concepts. Groups are expected to take part in the Noord, Pariba and Playa parades.
Giel said costume information, prices and participation details would be released on November 11. People interested in joining can approach Centro di Bario Noord. She also thanked the community and volunteers who supported the fair, now in its fifth year.
