Aruba September tourism figures show 114,517 stayover visitors and almost US$24.7 million in short-term vacation-rental revenue, according to an Aruba Tourism Authority update published by EA News on October 21.

Visitors recorded 761,557 overnight stays

The island registered 761,557 visitor nights during September 2026, with an average stay of 6.7 nights. North America accounted for 64.6% of arrivals, South America 27.7%, Europe 5.0% and other regions 2.7%, the update said.

The United States supplied 70,682 visitors, Argentina 14,986 and the Netherlands 2,769.

Vacation-rental revenue and occupancy

ATA’s monitoring through the Lighthouse platform put September vacation-rental occupancy at 51% and the average daily rate at US$323. Reported revenue totaled US$24,657,396, compared with US$17,524,190 in September 2025.

Wedding-market findings included in update

The release also discussed ATA’s commissioned study, “Saying ‘I Do’ to the Business of Aruba Weddings.” It reported average spending of US$27,000 per wedding couple, approximately US$4,000 per guest and US$10,500 per honeymoon traveler.

The study identified opportunities for local accommodation, dining, transport and excursions as celebrations extend across several days. It also highlighted interest in sustainable options that support the community, environment and local culture.
