The Respaldo care team is expanding, with director Carolina Hart describing psychiatrist additions and a search for more specialists to help address waiting lists, according to an October 18 report by 24ora.
Psychiatrist roles described in expansion
Hart said the expansion includes a psychiatrist from Colombia who will work permanently in Aruba, as well as a psychiatrist for children and adolescents. The cited report did not give names or start dates for those roles.
More specialists sought for waiting lists
The foundation is also seeking more psychologists and other specialists to help address waiting lists, according to Hart’s comments reported by 24ora.
As Respaldo prepares for its 10th anniversary, Hart said it will share more information with the community about its services, how it works and the support available.
