Fundacion Respeta Mi has announced a new stage of its Panda: No Ta Mishi awareness project, including a free public show in Paradera in December, according to an October 16 report by 24ora.
Two December performances planned
Panda The Live Show is being prepared with EZ Party Solutions and will take place at Odres Nuevos in Paradera. A performance for schools is scheduled for Friday, December 4, followed by a free community show on Saturday, December 5.
The show is aimed at children ages four to eight accompanied by a parent or caregiver. The foundation says free tickets will be available from its office during November.
Project builds on a school storytelling program
The announcement forms part of Respeta Mi’s 35th-anniversary activities. Its prevention workers, Stacey Franca and Micheline Mathurin, presented the plans at a news conference.
The original project was written and illustrated by Liliana Erasmus and introduced in 2015 with Kiwanis Club of Aruba and Levendig Uitgever. It used storytelling in schools to discuss care for and respect for the body.
The foundation said the project’s copyright was transferred to it in 2026, supporting the continuation of the Raai and Panda story.
