Laser Airlines will begin flying between Caracas and Aruba on December 3, 2026, restoring a direct air link between Venezuela and the island with two weekly flights.
The service will operate on Thursdays and Sundays, with promotional round-trip fares starting from $350, according to reporting by journalist Rainer Nieves Dolande in Aviacionline, cited by NoticiaCla on October 16.
Details of the new service
Flights will be operated with McDonnell Douglas MD-80 aircraft. The twice-weekly schedule gives travelers direct access between Caracas and Aruba two days a week in each direction.
A returning connection
According to 24ora, Venezuelan airlines have been looking for ways to fly back to Aruba since the border context changed, and Laser is set to start within two months. The announcement follows Aeroparaguana’s launch of Aruba–Las Piedras service on September 9 — another sign of rebuilding air connectivity between the two countries.
What happens next
Tickets are expected to go on sale ahead of the December 3 start, with the promotional $350 round-trip fares aimed at stimulating demand on the route.
