A Fiyostraat narcotics raid resulted in six arrests after Aruba’s Narcotics Unit searched a property on the night of October 9, according to a police report carried by 24ora.
Six suspects detained during the search
The source report said the detainees were five males and one woman. Their ages ranged from 16 to 49, and the group included people born in Colombia and Aruba. Because the case involves minors as well as an active investigation, ArubaNews.ca is identifying the suspects only in the limited manner used by authorities and is not publishing full names.
Marijuana seized at the property
Police reported seizing a substantial quantity of marijuana during the judicial search. The source did not provide a measured weight or estimated value, so no additional quantity is being reported.
Several police units supported the operation
The Narcotics Unit was joined by the K-9 unit, the Rapid Response Team and uniformed officers. Aruba police said the operation was connected to suspected drug sales from the property.
Authorities asked anyone with relevant information to contact the police tip line at 11141, where callers may remain anonymous.
