Aruba beat Anguilla 2-0 after turning second-half control into goals by Roviën Ostiana and substitute Justin Figaroa.
According to reporting by NoticiaCla, the first half ended scoreless despite several Aruba chances.
Aruba creates chances before the break
Ostiana tested Anguilla goalkeeper Jelanie Lawrence during the opening half, while Bradley Martis, Carlito Fermina and Jaybriën Romano also looked for the breakthrough.
Aruba was unable to convert those opportunities before halftime, sending the teams into the interval at 0-0.
Ostiana breaks the deadlock
The opening goal arrived in the 53rd minute. Ostiana finished right-footed from the centre of the penalty area into the lower-left corner after an assist by Gello Robertha.
Aruba continued to create danger in the second half, with efforts involving Rainey Breinburg, Walter Bennett, Mishawn Molina and Alljereau Mercera.
Figaroa secures the 2-0 victory
Figaroa, introduced as a substitute, added the second goal in the 88th minute with a right-footed finish from the centre of the area.
Aruba completed the match without conceding and secured the 2-0 result through a strong second-half performance.
