Firefighters in Aruba contained a fire in a residential yard in Sabana Blanco on Monday afternoon before the flames reached vehicles parked nearby.
Two fire units sent to Sabana Blanco
According to AWE24, authorities received a report that piled trash was burning in a yard behind a home. The fire was getting close to vehicles inside the property, prompting the dispatch of two fire-service units.
The report did not identify the people at the property or state how the fire started.
Sabana Blanco fire fully extinguished
Firefighters applied water as soon as they arrived and fully extinguished the blaze, AWE24 reported. The brief account did not report injuries or specify whether any of the nearby vehicles or other property sustained damage.
