The Department of Social Affairs has announced free Aruba financial stress workshops to help residents build budgets and cope with money-related pressure.
DAS Hunto cu Bo opens to all ages
The project, called “DAS Hunto cu Bo,” was created by the Social Guidance and Life and Family sections of DAS. Organizers said the workshops are open to residents of all ages and are not limited to a specific client group.
Each session will cover monthly budgeting as well as strategies for managing stress during financial hardship. Capacity is limited to 45 participants per workshop.
Three community sessions scheduled
The workshops are scheduled for September 19 at Centro di Bario Noord, October 17 at Centro di Bario Playa Pabou, and November 14 at Centro di Bario Lago Heights. Doors open at 8:30 a.m., with programming through 12:30 p.m. and information booths afterward.
DAS said CEDE Aruba’s WAW Mobile service will support participating parents with children aged four and older when the need is identified during registration.
