The Kiwanis Club of San Nicolas has returned with the sixth edition of its Youth Education Summit, this year using YES Creative Aruba to introduce young participants to digital creativity.
The program is teaching participants how to develop an idea, turn it into a creative concept and implement it using current digital formats.
Sixth summit focuses on digital creation
Jeritza Correa, director of the Kiwanis Club of San Nicolas youth section, told 24ora that the YES project has now been organized for six years. The 2026 edition is called YES Creative and concentrates on basic digital skills used in today’s media environment.
Participants are guided through the process of thinking through a concept before creating and presenting it.
Young people learn to build short-form content
The workshop includes creative formats such as Reels and TikTok. Correa said teachers and companies assisted with the sessions, giving participants support as they moved from an initial idea to a digital result.
