Aruba marked 25 years since the September 11 attacks with its annual memorial at U.S. Customs and Border Protection facilities at Queen Beatrix International Airport.
Ceremony honored victims and responders
Prime Minister Mike Eman joined the ceremony, which honored victims and first responders. He described Aruba’s participation as solidarity with the United States and humanity.

Eman also recalled the disruption to global aviation and concern for Aruba’s tourism-dependent economy.
