NOORD — Centro di Bario Noord hosted a successful movie night featuring the locally produced films “E Bruha, Bruhá 1” and “E Bruha, Bruhá 2,” while raising funds for the upcoming third installment.
Desiree Croes presented both films during the event, which attracted a large group of Centro di Bario Noord members and filled the venue’s main hall.
The audience enjoyed performances by a lineup of local actors, including Desiree Croes, Yvonne Tromp, Addonsito Croes, Mirto Tromp, Saraquita Offringa, Yolanda Croes, Lelicia Tromp, Egmond Molina, Shajir Croes, Edwin Duineveld and Ruben Croes, among others.
The E Bruha Bruhá movie night also served as a fundraiser for the production of “E Bruha, Bruhá 3.” Filming for the third movie is expected to begin in approximately three weeks.
Berea Productions thanked Ligia of Centro di Bario Noord for the initiative and for providing the cast and production team with an opportunity to share their work with a large audience.
The production team also expressed appreciation to the local media and members of the public who attended and enthusiastically supported both films.
The strong turnout and audience response highlighted community support for local filmmaking and Aruban talent as preparations begin for the next chapter of the “E Bruha, Bruhá” series.
