ORANJESTAD, Aruba – Turtle Carnaval Group Aruba is a newly formed Carnival group preparing to bring children, music and a colorful “Beach Life” theme to several parades during Aruba Carnival 2027.
The new group, known as Turtle Carnaval Group, has been created with a special focus on children and aims to provide young participants with an opportunity to experience the excitement and traditions of Aruba’s Carnival celebrations.
Organizers have already started preparing for the 2027 Carnival season and announced that the group will participate under the theme “Beach Life.” The concept is expected to bring a lively island atmosphere to the parades while creating an entertaining Carnival experience specifically designed for younger participants.
According to the announcement, Turtle Carnaval Group plans to take part in four Carnival parades during the upcoming season.
The group is scheduled to participate in the Fantasy Parade, as well as three children’s parades held in different parts of Aruba. These include the Children’s Parade in Noord, the Children’s Parade in Oranjestad, and the Children’s Parade in San Nicolas.
Participating in parades across several districts will give the new group an opportunity to introduce itself to Carnival audiences throughout the island while allowing its young members to experience different parts of Aruba’s Carnival program.
Music will also form an important part of the group’s participation.
Turtle Carnaval Group Aruba will be accompanied during the parades by Banda Enkura, bringing live musical energy to the group as participants move along the Carnival routes.
Organizers are promising an experience filled with more music, more positive energy and plenty of the “Beach Life” atmosphere connected to the group’s 2027 theme.
Registration for the new Carnival group has already opened, allowing parents and families interested in having their children participate to begin making arrangements ahead of the upcoming season.
Those seeking registration information can contact Juffrouw Denny at 593-0686, according to the announcement.
The creation of Turtle Carnaval Group adds another option for children who want to participate actively in Aruba Carnival rather than simply watching the celebrations from along the parade route.
Children’s Carnival groups also provide an opportunity for younger generations to become familiar with local Carnival traditions, including costumes, music, dancing and participation in organized parades.
With appearances planned in Noord, Oranjestad and San Nicolas, the group will have a presence across several communities during its first Carnival season.
The announcement comes well ahead of the 2027 festivities, giving organizers, participating families and children time to prepare for the costumes, theme and activities associated with the new group.
Turtle Carnaval Group is now looking forward to making its debut during Aruba Carnival 2027, with its Beach Life theme, Banda Enkura and a program centered on creating an enjoyable Carnival experience for children.
