ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Woman Hospitalized After Assault Report in Catiri after police and emergency medical personnel responded to an alleged assault during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Authorities were dispatched to Catiri following reports of an assault involving an injured woman. Police officers and an ambulance arrived at the scene shortly after receiving the emergency call.
Victim Suffered Head Injury
According to the preliminary police investigation, officers found the woman with a cut above one of her eyebrows, and she was bleeding when emergency responders arrived.
Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before transporting her to the hospital for further medical evaluation and treatment.
Police Continue Investigation
Police determined that the woman does not reside at the location where the incident occurred. Because her vehicle remained at the property, officers later transported her to her residence after the necessary arrangements were made.
The circumstances surrounding the reported assault remain under investigation, and authorities have not released additional information regarding any suspect or possible charges.
