ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Thomas G.W.A. Domhoff officially began his term as President of the Central Bank of Aruba (BCA) on July 1.
On his first day, Domhoff held meetings with the bank’s executive management team and staff following his swearing-in ceremony on June 25 at the Governor’s Ceremonial House, where Governor Alfonso Boekhoudt administered the oath of office.
The Central Bank thanked Miriam Gonzalez for serving as Acting President and ensuring continuity of leadership during the transition period.
Under Domhoff’s leadership, the Central Bank of Aruba will continue its core responsibilities, including maintaining the stability of the Aruban florin, promoting the integrity and resilience of the country’s financial system, and supporting a secure and efficient payment system.
