ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Fundacion E Fortaleza y Sosten pa Famia has launched a nationwide fundraising campaign to support the construction of a dedicated Women’s Rehabilitation and Trauma Center in Aruba.

The foundation is inviting residents, businesses and organizations across the island to contribute toward the project, which aims to provide a safe and secure environment where women can recover from trauma and rebuild their lives.

Plans include office space and a training center built with trailers during the initial phase, followed by the construction of a permanent facility with 40 rooms equipped to provide rehabilitation, accommodation and support services.

Donation collection boxes and donation card holders will be placed at supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, hotels, schools, churches, government offices, gas stations, banks and other businesses willing to participate.

The foundation is encouraging anyone interested in hosting a donation station or supporting the initiative to contact the organization directly by phone or email.

Organizers say the campaign will continue until the rehabilitation center becomes a reality, calling on the entire community to help make the project possible.
