ORANJESTAD (AAN) – The Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) strengthened Aruba’s international tourism strategy during a visit to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where CEO Ronella Croes participated in the prestigious Forbes Sustainability Summit.
Speaking on the panel “High-Impact Partnerships,” Croes highlighted Aruba’s commitment to responsible tourism, sustainable destination management and balancing visitor experiences with the well-being of local communities, environmental protection and cultural preservation.
ATA also promoted its global campaign, “When You Love Aruba, It Loves You Back,” alongside the Argentina-specific initiative “Care for Aruba Like You Care for Your Home,” encouraging visitors to respect the island and its natural environment.
According to ATA, the campaign has already reached more than 875,000 people in Argentina and has been incorporated into collaborations with influencers, travel agent training programs and airline communications.
During the visit, ATA also met with representatives from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Argentine-Dutch Chamber of Commerce and Aerolíneas Argentinas to discuss strengthening tourism ties and attracting higher-value visitors while maintaining sustainable tourism growth.
ATA said it will continue promoting Aruba internationally as a destination committed to responsible tourism and long-term sustainability.
