ORANJESTAD (AAN) – The Department of Culture Aruba (DCA) has made a variety of educational resources available to schools and the community as part of its commitment to preserving and promoting Aruba’s Intangible Cultural Heritage through the San Juan – Dera Gay 2026 celebrations.
The resources are designed to strengthen knowledge and appreciation of one of Aruba’s most vibrant cultural traditions while encouraging its transmission to present and future generations.
Available materials include general information about the San Juan – Dera Gay 2026 festivities, special episodes of Bentana Cultural dedicated to the tradition, and educational audiovisual content for use in schools and community activities.
In addition, DCA announced several initiatives under the San Juan – Dera Gay 2026 project, including special programming on Tele Aruba on June 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the distribution of educational audiovisual materials, and the launch of the Casita Cultural App.
All resources can be accessed through the DCA website and the Department of Culture Aruba’s official YouTube channel.
The Department also encourages the public to celebrate Aruba’s cultural heritage, traditions, and San Juan festivities within local communities and neighborhoods.
