Aruba Launches Two-Year Evening MAVO Program as a new educational opportunity for residents who wish to complete their secondary education and obtain a MAVO diploma.

During the weekend, Minister of Education Gerlien Croes announced the initiative and indicated that additional details would be released on Monday. The program represents a significant step toward expanding educational access and supporting lifelong learning opportunities on the island.

The Aruba Launches Two-Year Evening MAVO Program initiative will allow individuals who did not complete their MAVO education to return to school and earn their diploma within a two-year period.

According to Minister Croes, students entering the program for the 2026-2027 academic year will not be required to take an entrance examination, making the pathway more accessible for adults seeking to continue their education.

The program is expected to be coordinated through Stichting Avond Onderwijs, which will provide further information regarding enrollment procedures, requirements, and course details.

The Aruba Launches Two-Year Evening MAVO Program announcement reflects the government’s commitment to creating more educational opportunities for residents who wish to improve their qualifications and future career prospects.

Supporters of the initiative view it as an important example of lifelong learning, ensuring that education remains accessible regardless of age or previous educational circumstances.

The Aruba Launches Two-Year Evening MAVO Program is expected to benefit many individuals who have long wanted to complete their studies and obtain an officially recognized MAVO diploma, opening doors to further education and professional development.
