The Aruba Bowling Association (ARBAS) met with the technical department of the Aruban Olympic Committee (COA) regarding the preparation framework for the team’s potential participation in the Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026. Discussions included coach Katie Thornton, who is supporting the technical process, and sports psychologists Sandra Garcia Marchena and Alexandra Garzon, who are supporting the sports psychology component.
The meeting focused on the training camp taking place at the bowling training center. There, specialists are working intensively with the men’s and women’s selection teams to specifically improve their performance.
Evaluations show that the group is seeing good progress, indicating that this specialized preparation is fruitful and is helping to raise the level of the athletes. The COA congratulates ARBAS and its athletes for their commitment to raising their performance level to continue representing Aruba at a regional and international level.
