Police in Playa are actively investigating a series of aggressive disturbances involving groups of young people that have occurred in recent days. On Sunday night, the situation escalated, requiring a significant police response to locations including Seroe Patrishi, Ponton, and Wayaca. Authorities were mobilized to address reports of fighting, property destruction, and public unrest caused by these roving groups.
One of the most severe incidents took place at a house in Seroe Patrishi, located behind the area known as Flores. A group of young females arrived at the property, destroying parts of the house and engaging in physical altercations with the occupants. Reports indicate that a minor female was severely beaten by the attackers, who attempted to act like gangsters while filming the incident. Police have noted that these acts are now a matter for the justice system and warned that those involved will be located.
The disturbances extended to Ponton, where police units intervened after a group created trouble in the area. Officers attended the scene to take statements and gather data. Furthermore, police carried out operations in Wayaca to address the continued aggression. Authorities continue to work to resolve these incidents and maintain order in the affected neighborhoods.
