During a recent press conference, Minister of Finance, Economic Affairs and Primary Sector Geoffrey Wever presented the preliminary financial Q1 2026 Results.The report indicates a positive outcome for the central government and the collective sector, which includes entities such as AZV, SVB, and the University of Aruba.
According to the Uitvoeringsrapportage (URK) submitted to the Curaçao Aruba Financial Supervision (CAft), government revenue reached 439.5 million Aruban florins. This represents an increase of 24.8 million florins compared to the same period in 2025. The report notes that indirect tax revenue climbed 8 percent to 117 million florins and import duties rose to 62 million florins.
