ORANJESTAD – A coordinated Police Pursuit involving units from Noord, Oranjestad, Paradera, and Santa Cruz took place early Saturday morning, resulting in a vehicle pursuit that ended in the Napa Santa Cruz area.
The pursuit was initiated following reports of a prior disturbance at a local establishment where a group of individuals had reportedly caused damage. Upon intercepting the vehicle, police encountered the suspects. One individual present at the scene claimed that he was not involved in the earlier incident that had led to the reported destruction of property.
During the course of the intervention, police officers received information indicating that a firearm might be present. A search of the vehicle and the surrounding area was conducted to locate the weapon. Despite these efforts, the police were unable to recover any firearm. As no immediate evidence was found to substantiate the allegations at the scene, the officers proceeded to take the personal details of the individuals involved for further investigation.
