The Aruba Police K9 Carla addition officially strengthens the K9 Unit of the Aruba Police Force (KPA).
Recently, the Aruba Police Force welcomed a new police dog named Carla, donated by the organization Irondog K9 International. Carla is the third police dog donated to KPA by the organization, further strengthening the long-standing partnership between Irondog and the Aruba Police Force.
The Aruba Police K9 Carla initiative aims to continue improving public safety and enhancing the operational capabilities of the K9 Unit across the island.
The collaboration with Irondog K9 International extends beyond dog donations. Over the years, the organization has also provided important support through donations of protective vests, benches, training sessions, and seminars in the United States attended by Aruba police officers.
The official presentation ceremony took place in the presence of Irondog CEO and founder Charlie Nash, CFO Mitzi Nash, K9 Unit personnel, and Aruba Police Commissioner Ramon Arnhem.
Commissioner Arnhem expressed gratitude to Irondog K9 International for its continued support and confidence in the Aruba Police K9 Unit.
Carla also received several gifts from Commissioner Arnhem during the event as the police dog recently celebrated a birthday. Officials stated that Carla is ready to contribute to the safety and security of the Aruban community.
