ATA and APA Welcome 2026 Cruise Season with Inaugural Calls
ORANJESTAD (AAN): The Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.), in collaboration with Aruba Ports Authority N.V. (APA N.V.), welcomed the 2026 cruise season with inaugural calls from Queen Anne and Star Princess on April 16, and Scenic Eclipse on April 19.
Queen Anne, represented locally by SEL Maduro and Sons, and Star Princess, represented by Armada Port Agency, were greeted by A.T.A. Visitor Care Liaison Marouska Heyliger together with APA N.V. representatives. On April 19, the ultra-luxury expedition yacht Scenic Eclipse made its inaugural call, strengthening Aruba’s relationship with the luxury and expedition cruise segment.
Cruise Ships Celebrate Inaugural Calls in Aruba
During each inaugural call, a traditional plaque exchange ceremony took place between senior ship officers and host destination representatives — a maritime gesture symbolizing mutual appreciation and the strengthening of long-term relationships.
