ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AAN) — The Aruba Chamber of Commerce new board received congratulations from parliamentarian Jennifer Arends-Reyes, who wished the newly appointed and re-elected board members success in their important role strengthening Aruba’s business and economic sectors.

Speaking during the Business Mixer 2026, Arends-Reyes highlighted the importance of direct dialogue between the public and private sectors, emphasizing that events such as this create essential spaces for idea exchange, collaboration, and trust-building among entrepreneurs, business leaders, and government institutions.

“A strong economy is built on solid leadership and continuous collaboration,” Arends-Reyes stated. “I congratulate the new board of the Chamber of Commerce and encourage them to continue working with vision, determination, and innovation for the benefit of the entire business community.”

The parliamentarian emphasized that the Chamber of Commerce plays a key role in sustainable economic development, especially at a time when innovation, local entrepreneurship, and the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises are crucial to Aruba’s future.

She also expressed appreciation for the organization of Business Mixer 2026, describing the event as a success that brought together key stakeholders from various sectors, fostered new partnerships, and strengthened the foundation for long-term economic growth.

Arends-Reyes concluded by stressing the importance of continued national efforts toward responsible investment and maintaining a favorable business climate for all Arubans.
