ORANJESTAD, Aruba — Garage Centraal 2025 business success was celebrated during the company’s recent annual employee meeting, where management highlighted record achievements and recognized outstanding staff performance.

During the meeting, Technical Operations Director Carlos Orman presented an overview of the 2025 results, confirming historic vehicle sales levels across all seven brands represented by Garage Centraal in Aruba. These include established brands such as Hyundai, Isuzu, and Volkswagen, as well as fast-growing brands like GAC, which became the second-best-selling brand after Hyundai.

Garage Centraal also strengthened its position as a leader in sustainable mobility, selling the highest number of electric vehicles (EVs) in Aruba during 2025. The EV portfolio included models from Hyundai and GAC, along with fully electric brands such as Leapmotor, Riddara, and Sinogold.

The company emphasized that its success is driven not only by vehicle sales, but also by its certified technical service, with manufacturer-approved training and processes ensuring optimal vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.

Strong results were also reported across departments. The Service Department achieved a record number of repair orders, while the Parts Department and Body Shop delivered solid performance throughout the year. Centraal Lease recorded growth in financing contracts, accounting for nearly one-third of new vehicle sales, and will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2026.

The Marketing Department also achieved impressive online reach, with a significant increase in social media engagement and views.

Employee recognition was a key highlight of the meeting, with awards presented to team members who stood out in 2025:

  • Rookie of the Year: Rehandroh Maria

  • Most Improved: Kevin Glasgow

  • Centraal Award: Rodney Kock, Xenia Hirshfeld, Joalyne Figaroa Boekhoudt

  • Best Mechanic: Jack Bareño (3rd), Fredy Yucra (2nd), Michell Stamper (Winner)

  • Employee of the Year: Jafet Cano (Garage Centraal), Robert Wernet (Centraal Lease)

The annual gathering reaffirmed that Garage Centraal’s continued success is driven by teamwork, dedication, and strong collaboration across all departments.
