Aruba’s tourism sector continued to show strong and resilient performance through November 2025, marked by solid growth in stay-over arrivals, increased visitor spending, and improving results in short-term vacation rentals. Demand was driven primarily by Latin America, with continued strength from North America, while spending across restaurants, hotels, and retail outlets remained robust.

Based on the latest forecasts, stay-over arrivals are expected to increase by at least 5% by the end of 2025, with all source markets showing growth compared to 2024—reinforcing a positive outlook for Aruba’s tourism industry as the year concludes.

Strong Growth in November Arrivals

In November 2025, Aruba welcomed 123,831 stay-over visitors, representing a 15.9% increase compared to November 2024. This significant rise reflects strong international demand, particularly from Latin America, with Argentina and Brazil leading growth. From North America, Canada continued to support overall arrival numbers.

Cruise tourism also performed strongly, with more than 810,000 cruise passengers visiting the island so far this year. Combined, visitors generated over 9.2 million guest nights.

Shifting Travel Preferences

Visitor preferences continue to evolve, with growing demand for vacation rentals, boutique hotels, and locally oriented accommodations. These segments now account for approximately 38.4% of all guest nights, highlighting travelers’ desire for more personalized and authentic experiences. While traditional EP hotels remain strong, alternative lodging options are gaining popularity.

Overall, Aruba’s tourism results through November 2025 highlight the island’s continued appeal, adaptability, and resilience as a leading Caribbean destination. Strong market diversification and changing accommodation trends position Aruba well for sustained growth heading into year-end and beyond.
