New nonstop service enhances affordability and accessibility for U.S. travelers while strengthening Aruba’s tourism sector.

Breeze Airways, the U.S.-based budget airline, has officially launched its first-ever direct flight to Aruba. The inaugural service connects Westchester County Airport (HPN) in New York to Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA), marking a new chapter in travel convenience between the northeastern U.S. and the Caribbean island.

The newly added route is scheduled to operate weekly on Saturdays during peak travel seasons. It offers a nonstop option for American tourists seeking sun, sand, and sea without the hassle of layovers or long airport commutes. The service is operated using Breeze’s modern Airbus A220 aircraft, known for its passenger comfort and fuel efficiency.

To celebrate the launch, Breeze Airways introduced limited-time promotional fares starting as low as $109 one-way, making it one of the most affordable ways for New Yorkers to escape to the Caribbean. Travelers booking by June 9, 2025, can take advantage of these prices, though blackout dates apply later in the year.

The Westchester–Aruba connection offers a convenient travel solution for residents in the New York metropolitan area, eliminating the need to use larger, busier hubs like JFK or Newark. For Breeze Airways, this route aligns with its mission of linking underserved airports to popular leisure destinations.

Tourism officials in Aruba have welcomed the new route, citing its potential to drive increased visitor numbers and support the island’s ongoing tourism growth. With the U.S. already being a key market for Aruba’s tourism industry, additional nonstop routes from new departure points are seen as a valuable boost to both accessibility and economic activity.

Aruba has enjoyed record-breaking visitor numbers in recent years, and new flight options like this one further reinforce the island’s appeal as a top travel destination. Breeze Airways’ entry into the market not only adds competition but also enhances travel affordability for budget-conscious tourists.

The service is expected to run through the end of 2025, with the potential for extension or increased frequency based on passenger demand. For now, the weekly flight offers American travelers a hassle-free and cost-effective way to enjoy Aruba’s famous beaches, vibrant culture, and year-round sunshine.
