The Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) proudly recognized Mr. Jon and Mrs. Cheri Grinberg from Parlin, New Jersey, as Goodwill Ambassadors of Aruba for their longstanding loyalty and affection for the island.

The honor was presented during a heartfelt ceremony at Marriott’s Aruba Surf Club, where Ms. Marouska Heyliger of the ATA and resort staff members awarded the couple with a commemorative certificate and special gifts. The recognition, given on behalf of the Minister of Tourism, serves as Aruba’s way of saying “Masha Danki” to visitors who have returned to the island for 10, 20, or 35 consecutive years.

Recognition Levels:

  • Distinguished Visitor: 10+ consecutive years visiting Aruba
  • Goodwill Ambassador: 20+ consecutive years
  • Emerald Ambassador: 35+ consecutive years

The Grinbergs, now officially Goodwill Ambassadors, shared the reasons they keep returning to their “home away from home”:
